I’m passionate about creating indoor environments that are better for people and for the planet.  Intelligent shading maximises daylight, manages glare, and minimises energy consumption.  My job is to set the strategic direction of Umbra, to ensure we constantly innovate our products and services to meet the needs of our customers and the market.  I enjoy keeping in touch with our key partners to ensure that Umbra continues to be part of their success.

Part of my role involves managing the supply chain to ensure we can fulfil orders on time while maintaining inventory levels. I work with suppliers to support operations in delivering key objectives and meeting the customer requirements. I’m also responsible for accounts payable, cash flow management, debtor management and reconciliations.

My role is managing product design & development; ensuring that our products are constantly evolving and that we remain at the leading edge of roller blind technology & design.  I also work on developing bespoke solutions for our clients, designing blinds for anything from a luxury yacht to a high-rise office block.

I’m responsible for sales and marketing at Umbra; it’s my job to facilitate the team to be good at theirs. I also hold meetings with key accounts and potential clients to grow their business and ours. My knowledge of the industry helps me to understand the market trends so that we can develop shading solutions to meet the demands.

My responsibilities include working with our dealers on complex projects, talking to architects & designers and holding meetings with potential clients.

I act as a conduit between our sales team and our production teams to oversee order processing and project completion.

My role is to oversee orders in all aspects of project delivery, from estimating, ordering, production and customer satisfaction.

I support our customers with all queries relating to their orders, transit status and aftercare

I’m responsible for creating visual media to showcase Umbra and its products. My role is to promote our product range through video, photography and blog posts and advocate Umbra’s presence in the shading industry.

It’s my responsibility to support new and existing clients and architect connections.

I’m responsible for providing our clients with accurate and fully considered estimates for their shading projects.

It’s my responsibility to ensure products are despatched on time and in full.  I work with the rest of the team to keep the production flow moving and make sure blinds are packed on time.

I’m responsible for product assembly and assisting with testing and quality control.

I work in the assembly department, building finished products and testing them. I’m an expert with our KuroLok and KuroLok RL systems.

I’m responsible for preparing and assembling hardware for our range of products, including KuroLok, Evolve Casette and Cascade.

I assemble finished blinds, assist with testing and quality control & ensure items are packed securely for despatch.

I work in the assembly and fabric welding area where materials are joined and zips are bonded.

I manage one of the fabric cutting tables where material is trimmed to the correct size for every blind.

It’s my role to cut the extruded aluminium & steel for our blinds, as well as help with product assembly and other production duties.

I assemble finished blinds, assist with testing and quality control & ensure items are packed securely for despatch.
